General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage since 1 April £1217 16s 6d. After wages, etc, profit £655 7s. Dividend of £3 5s declared.
Major C Fisher and Mr W J Stanton re-elected and that Mr James Thomas Stanton elected members of the Committee.
At a General Half yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Thursday the 22^nd day of October 1874 at 4,o,clock pm

The minutes of the Committee since the last General assembly were read, approved and confirmed.
[1] It appears that the sum of £1217..16..6 has been received from the 1^st day of April to the 1^st day of October 1874 part of which has been applied towards the payment of wages, disbursement, etc, and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £655..7..0 after paying the last Dividend.
Ordered that a dividend of £3..5..0 on each share be declared, payable on the 1^st day of November 1874 free of Income tax.
