Stoppage to take place at Bristol Road Lock for three days ending 30 May to plank the bottom gates.
Ordered that a new pair of Bottom Gates be made for Blunder Lock, Eastington and put in, if possible, in August.
The annual inspection of the canal take place on 9 and 10 June next and that the following attend: Messrs Beard, Fisher, Stanton, Marling, Little and Hooper.
Semand note for 17s.10d. for the poor rate for Bristol Road property to be paid as usual under protest.
Clerk to purchase oak, elm, larch, Baltic fir, pitch pine and deals to the extent of £60 or thereabouts.

Present: Mr G H A Beard Chairman, Mr C H Hooper, Mr T M Croome, Mr S Phipps, Mr E C Little, Mr J T Fisher, Mr J T Stanton.
It was proposed, seconded and carried unanimously that Mr G H A Beard be the Chairman for the ensuing year.
[34] Ordered that a Stoppage take place at Bristol R^d Lock for 3 days ending the 10^th May inst to plank the bottom gates.
[29] Ordered that a new pair of Bottom gates be made for the Blunder Lock Eastington and if possible put in, in August next.
[46] Ordered that the annual Inspection of the Canal take place on the 9^th & 10^th of June next and that the following Gentlemen do attend (viz):
Mr Beard, Mr J T Fisher, Mr J T Stanton, Mr Marling, Mr Little and Mr Hooper.
[41] A demand note amounting to 17^s/10^d for the poor rate for Bristol Road property was placed before the Committee and the same was ordered to be paid as usual under protest. The Clerk was directed to call Mr Kearseys attention to the same.
[34] The Clerk was instructed to purchase oak, elm, Larch, Baltic fir, pitch pine & deals to the extent of £60 or thereabouts.
