Summary

General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage since 1 April £1646 7s 10d. After wages, etc, profit £791 11s 11d. Dividend of £3 15s declared.
From the Stonehouse & Nailsworth Railway Company’s Judgment Debt remains £638.5s.2d, the sum of £433.14s.8d. having been drawn for the dredging of the Canal by steam power.

At a General Half-yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at Wallbridge on Thursday the 22^nd day of April 1880 @ 4,o,clock pm
Chairman: J T Stanton.
The minutes of the Committee since the last General Meeting were approved and confirmed.
[1] It appears that the sum of £1646..7..10 has been received from the 1^st day of October 1879 to the 1^st day of April 1880, and a balance brought forward from the last Half year (after payment of dividend) of £61..2..0 making a total of £1707..9..10 of which sum £915..17..11 has been applied towards payment of wages disbursements, etc, and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £791..11..11 available for dividend.
[13] Ordered that a dividend of £3..15..0 on each share be declared, payable on the 1^st day of May next free of Income tax, carrying forward a balance of £41..11..111 to the next Half years account.
The sum of £204...10..6 the balance of £638..5..2 in the Bank on the 31^st day of March 1880 on a/c of the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company's judgement debt, remains in the hands of the Treasurer, the sum of £433..14..8 having been drawn for the purpose of dredging the Canal by Steam power.
Resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee shall be formed (viz);
Mr G H A Beard, Mr W W Kearsey, Mr S Phipps, Major C H Fisher, Mr J T Fisher, Mr W H Marling, Mr J T Stanton, Mr J Howard, Mr C H Hooper, Mr E C Little, Mr T M Croome.
