Summary

Thames & Severn Canal Bill 1882: Agreement for working the Thames & Severn Canal proposed at a meeting of Managers and Secretaries held at Gloucester Canal Office on the 27 February 1882 accepted provided that the Gloucester & Berkeley Canal Company adopt the same arrangement. Clerk instructed to write to Mr Waddy, the secretary, to this effect.
Midland Railway (Additional Powers) Bill 1882: A further sum of £150 voted to meet the expenses in opposing the Bill.

Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 21^st day of March 1882 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr G H A Beard Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr E C Little, Mr Jno Howard, Mr C H Hooper, Major Fisher, Mr J T Stanton.
[45] Ordered that the next Committee Meeting be held on Tuesday the 25^th day of April next @ 3,o,clock pm and the General Half-Yearly Meeting @ 4,o,clock pm on the same day.
Thames & Severn Canal Bill 1882
[52] Proposed by Mr Little and seconded by Mr Hooper that the agreement for working the Thames & Severn Canal proposed at a Meeting of the Manages and Secretaries held at Gloucester Canal Office on the 27^th day of February 1882 be accepted by this Company, providing the Gloucester and Berkley Canal Company adopt the same arrangement. The Clerk was instructed to write to Mr Waddy the Secretary to this effect.
[52] Midland Railway (Additional Powers) Bill 1882.
Proposed by Major Fisher and seconded by Mr J T Stanton that a further sum of £150 (in addition to the £200 voted at the Committee Meeting held on the 9^th Febry last) be voted to meet the expenses in opposing the above Bill, subject to the terms of the Resolution passed at the above named Meeting.
