Summary

In view of the time elapsed since William Timbrell, boatman, ran his boat into the gates at the Shallow Lock, no notice should be taken of his offence, but Jessie Smart should be fined 5s. for running his boat into the bottom gate at the Double Locks.
It was reported that the Towing path had been stopped as ordered at the last meeting.
Thames & Severn Canal: The minutes of meetings held by the Committee of the Allied Navigations on the 3 November 1883 and the 8 February 1884 were read.
Sir William Henry Marling representing the Trustees of the Stonehouse Court Estate and Messrs Hooper and Stanton representing this Company having definitively agreed upon the boundaries of the Stonehouse Ocean; a plan of the Ocean and its boundaries has been produced and submitted to this meeting. The plan also delineates the positions of withy trees belonging to Stonehouse Court Estate and others belonging to this Company. Resolved that the seal of the Company be affixed to the plan and the plan be signed by Sir William Henry Marling on behalf of the Trustees of the Stonehouse Court Estate.

Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 19^th day of February 1884 @ 3,o.clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr E F Gyde, Mr C H Hooper, Mr G H A Beard, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr J T Stanton, Mr J Howard.
[18] William Trimbrell, Boatman was reported for running his boat into the Gates of the Shallow Lock, and also Jessie Smart for running his boat into the bottom gates of the Double Locks, It was ordered that owing to the length of time that had elapsed no notice should be taken of Trimbrells offence, but that Smart pay should be fined 5/-.
[40] The Clerk reported that the Towing path had been stopped as ordered at the last Meeting.

[52] The Minutes of Meetings held by the Committee of the Allied Navigation on the 3^rd November 1884 and the 8^th February 1884 were read.
[50] The boundaries of the Stonehouse Ocean having pursuant to the resolution passed at the Meeting held on the 17^th July last been definitely agreed upon by Sir William Henry Marling as representing the Trustees of the Stonehouse Court Estate on the one part and Mr C H Hooper and Mr J T Stanton as representing the Committee of this Company on the other part, a plan of such Ocean and the boundaries thereof was now produced and submitted to this meeting. Upon this plan is delimited the position of 29 withy trees of which 10 in a straight line between an Orchard belonging to the Stonehouse Court Estate and land of this Company (were admitted to belong to this Company) and the remaining 19 commencing at a mere stone marked A on the said plan and running diagonally to a mere stone marked B thereon thence to a mere stone marked C upon the same plan and continuing to a mere stone marked D on the same plan were admitted to belong to the said Trustees of the Stonehouse Court Estate. It was resolved that the seal of the Company should be affixed to the said plan and that the plan should be signed by Sir William Henry Marling on behalf of the said Trustees of the Stonehouse Court Estate.
