Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 22^nd day of April 1884 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr G H A Beard, Mr J T Stanton, Sir W H Marling Bart.
The various accounts, books, and vouchers signed by Mr F Sturge the Auditor and certified to be correct were produced and passed.
The Treasurers Book was produced examined and signed by the Chairman.
[32] Henry Hamilton Mills of Stroud in the County of Gloucester Solicitor attended on behalf of and under a written authority from Eleanora Maria Croome, Charles Henry Hooper and Edward Francis Gedge, executors of the Will of the late Thomas Myers Croome late of Cainscross near Stroud in the County of Gloucester, Solicitor deceased (who died on the 15^th day of January 1883) and made out their claim to two shares numbered 46 and 81 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation and now standing in the name of the said Thomas Myers Croome deceased in the Books of the Company of Proprietors of the said Navigation by producing the tickets or titles of the said two shares and he Probate of the Will (with two Codicils) of the said Thomas Myers Croome deceased, the will bearing date the 8^h day of April 1879 and the Codicils bearing date respectively the 2^nd day of November 1880 and the 27^th day of December 1882 and proved by all the said Executors in the District Registry at Gloucester of the Probate Division of Her Majesty's High Court of Justice on the 4^th day of April 1883.
And the Claim was admitted accordingly and new tickets ordered to be made out on the tickets of titles of the said Thomas Myers Croome deceased being delivered up.
[50] At this Meeting (pursuant to the Resolution passed at the Meeting held on the 19^th Febry last) the Seal of the Company was affixed to the Plan which set forth the boundaries of the "Stonehouse Ocean" and "the Stonehouse Court Estate" and to a duplicated thereof the signature of Sir W^m Henry Marling having also been take to the same plan and duplicate.
