General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage since 1 October 1883 £1217 1s 4d. After wages, etc, profit £607 7s 10d. Dividend of £2 10s declared.
At a General Half-yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stonehouse Navigation held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 22^nd day of April 1884 @ 4,o,clock pm

The Minutes of the Committee since the last General Meeting were approved and confirmed.
[1] It appears that the sum of £1217..1..4 has been received from the 1^st day of October 1883 to the 1^st day of April 1884 and a balance brought forward of £119..17..6 from the last Half-year (after payment of Dividend) making a total of £1336..18..10 of which sum £719..11 has been applied towards payment of wages disbursements, etc, (including the sum of £151..17..3 tonnage on Coal paid to the Thames and Severn Canal Company) and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £607..7..10 available for Dividend.
Ordered that a Dividend of £2..10..- on each share be declared payable on the 1^st day of May next free of Income Tax, carrying forward a balance of £107..7..10 to the next Half-years account.
The sum of £229..0..6 in the Treasurers hands stands to the Credit of the Stonehouse and Nailsworth Railway Company's Judgement Debt a/c, being £226..0..6 Balance in the Bank on the 24^th day of June 1883 and £3 1/2 years Interest to the 15^th day of December 1883.
Resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee shall be appointed (viz):
