General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage from 1 October 1885 £1201 9s 7d. After wages, etc, profit £484 15s 9d. Dividend of £2 7s 6d declared.
At a General Half-yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 10^th day of April 1886 @ 3,30 pm

The Minutes of the Committee since the last General Meeting were approved and confirmed.
It appears that the sum of £1207..9..7 has been received from the 1st day of October 1885 to the 1^st day of April 1886 and a balance brought forward of £46..1..5 from the last Half-year (after payment of Dividend) making a total of £1247..11..- of which sum £762..15..3 has been applied towards the payment of wages disbursement, etc, (including the sum of £177..1..- tonnage paid to the Thames and Severn Canal Co_ and there remains the sum of £484..15..9 available for Dividend.
Ordered that a Dividend of £2..7..6 on each share be declared payable o the 1^st day of May next free of Income Tax, carrying forward a balance of £9..15..9 to the next Half-years account.
The sum of £240..10..6 in the hands of the Treasure stands to the Credit of the Reserve Fund, being £238..0 6 in the Bank on the 24^th June 1885, and £2..10..- 1/2yrs Interest to the 25^th day of Decembe 1885.
