Summary

The Great Western Railway Co’s reply to the deputation to the Board of Trade was read, the necessary reply was left in the hands of the Chairman and Messrs Hooper and Mills.
Sir W H Marling to consider what terms the Trustees of the Stonehouse Court Estate would let the land for the deposit of mud.
Orders given for planting the withy bed near the Junction with osiers.
The stoppage of the towing path on the canal was ordered for the 7 to 11 February next, with due notice being given.
Mr Hamilton Mills was asked to find out why the assessment to the poor rate on Wallbridge wharf and premises had increased.

Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 18^th day of January 1887 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr Jno Howard, Mr A J M Ball, Mr G H A Beard, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr E F Gyde. Mr E P Little.
The reply of the Great Western Railway Co to the Memorial presented to the Board of Trade by the Deputation referred to in the Minutes of the last Meeting was read or its effect explained & the necessary rejoinder was left in the hands of the Chairman & Messrs Hooper & Mills.
Reference was made to the land suggested for the deposit of mud from the Canal & Sir W H Marling said he would look at the locus in quo and consider on what terms the Trustee of the Stonehouse Court Estate would be disposed to let it.
Orders were given for planting the withy beds near the Junction with osiers.
The Stoppage of the Towing Path on the Canal was ordered for the 7^th to 11^th Febry next, due notice being given.
The increased assessment to the poor rate at Wallbridge wharf & premises was alluded to and Mr Hamilton Mills was directed to enquire into it.
