At a General Half-Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at their Office at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 32^rd day of October at 3.30 pm
Mr E C Little Chairman.
The Minutes of the Committee since the last General Meeting were approved and confirmed.
[1] It appears that the sum of £1042..10..7 has been received from the 1^st day of April 1888 to the 1^st day of October 1888, and a balance brought forward from last Half year (after payment of Divident) of £21..16..9 making a total of £1064..7..4 of which sum £612..15..2 has been applied towards the payment of Wages disbursements, etc, (including the sum of £135..0..6 tonnage on Coal paid to the T&S Canal C^o) and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £451..12..2 available for Dividend.
[13] Ordered that a Dividend of £2..5..0 on each share be declared payable on the 1^st day of November 1888 free of Income Tax carrying forward a balance of £1..12..2 to the next Half Years Account.
[55] The sum of £255..1..6 in the hands of the Treasurer stands to the Credit of the "Reserve Fund" being £252..10..6 balance in the Bank on the 25^th December 1887 and £3 ½ yrs Interest to the 24^th day of June 1888.
