Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 18^th day of June 1889 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr G H A Beard, Mr E P Little, Mr E F Gyde, Mr W Davies, Sir W H Marling Bart.
[23 & 37] Mr Hamilton Mills stated that Mr Scarborough has accepted the price for the reversion of the strip of land at Ryeford, and that the seal of the Company was ordered to be affixed to the conveyance which Mr Mills produced and the sale money of £25 paid to the reserve fund.
[7] A pair of bottom gates was ordered to be made at once and put in at the Dock Lock Eastington.
[11] A notice having been affixed on the Crane at Dudbridge wharf "not to lift more than 5 tons", Mr Mills was requested to prepare form to be adopted as a protection to the Company by Traders and others using the Crane for lifting weights above that weight.
