Engineer’s report on state of T&S Canal discussed.
Mr Wm Chris Wyke to be tenant of canal house Eastington in place of Mr R Salmon.
Bank interest reduced to 2½ per cent on Reserve Fund.

Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H Hamilton Mills "Solicitor", Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr W^m Davies, Mr W J Stanton, Mr E P Little, Mr A B Hooper.
The various accounts Books and vouchers signed by the Auditor and certified to be correct were produced and passed.
The Treasurer's Book was produced and signed by the Chairman.
No letter having been received from Mr Kimmins in reply to the Clerk's letter of the 7^th ulto the Clerk was directed to write to Mr Kimmins for a reply.
The Engineers report upon the state of the Thames and Severn Canal was considered and discussed and as a Meeting of the Allied Navigations on the subject had been called for the 25^th inst Mr Hooper & Mr Hamilton Mills were requested to attend such Meeting.
A Communication from the Canal Association as to the Tolls to be charged on traffic on this Canal - a sub-committee to consist of the Chairman, Sir W H Marling, Mr Hooper and Mr Hamilton Mills was appointed to consider the Schedule which would be best to adopt of such Tolls.
Mr W^m Chris Wyke was accepted as tenant of the Canal House Eastington in place of Mr R Salmon.
A letter read from the County of Gloucester Bank to the Chairman reducing the rate of interest upon the Reserve Fund to 2½ per cent.
