Mr George Taylor declined house at Eastington because not permitted to use buildings used by Company. Offered to Miss Williams of Stroud.
Allowance of £10 to Messrs Kemble & Dash approved.

Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills Solicitor, Mr A J M Ball, Mr E P Little, Mr C H Hooper, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr W^m Davies, Mr W J Stanton, Mr A B Hooper.
The letting of the House at Eastington to Mr George Taylor as reported at the last Meeting, having been declined by him by reason of his not being permitted to have the use of certain Buildings used by the Company and having been offered by the Clerk to Miss Williams of Stroud, the Committee approved of the action of the Clerk with reference to it, and although Mr Taylor attended the Meeting urging its acceptance of him as Tenant the Committee resolved upon leaving the letting in the hands of the Clerk.
The Committee entirely approved of the allowance to Messrs Kemble & Dash of £10 towards the repairs of the three punts or lighters for securing the traffic to their Mills at Stratford, and a cheque was drawn for this amount in favour of Messrs Kemble and Dash.
