Letter from G W Sibly of Stonehouse about being stopped by Company’s officers on towing path on 10 February.
Offer by Mr Sandling of ½d per bundle for osiers grown on Company’s land.
Mr Ward Senior’s proposal to take office and stable at Dudbridge at 5s p.a. accepted.
Mr Witchell, Clerk to Urban District Council of Stroud, required larger water cistern at Ship Inn.
Mr Taylor to keep monthly tenancy of canal house at Eastington.

The Clerk reported that the periodical closing of the Towing Path to the Public had been carried out upon the whole length of the Canal, from Wallbridge to Framilode, from Feb 8^th to Feb 12^th.
The Clerk presented a letter he had received from Mr G W Sibly of Stonehouse, dated Feby 10^th, with reference to his having been stopped by the Company's Officers upon the Towing Path at Stonehouse on the above occasion. The Solicitor of the Company was asked to draft a letter for the Clerk acknowledge Mr Sibly's letter.
An offer by Mr Sandling of 1^s/2^d per bundle, for the Osiers grown on the Company's land -- the Company cutting and delivering them to Dudbridge -- was accepted.
Mr Ward Sen'r (on behalf of his son) having proposed to take the Office and Stable at Dudbridge for one year, at a Rental of £5..4..0 (payable quarterly) the same was accepted, and the Clerk was directed to prepare the necessary Agreement.
A letter was read from Mr Witchell, Clerk to the Urban District Council of Stroud, requiring a larger Water Cistern at the Ship Inn. The Clerk was ordered to see to it.
The Chairman reported having been requested by Mrs Taylor, the wife of the tenant of the Canal House at Eastington, to represent their wish not to leave under the notice given, & it was decided to offer Mr Taylor the alternative of a monthly tenancy, paid punctually.
The Chairman undertook to see Mr Taylor and arrange it.
