Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 21^st day of September 1897
Present: Mr C H Hooper Chairman, Mr Mills Solicitor, Mr E P Little, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr W Davies, Mr S S Marling.
Ordered that the next Committee Meeting be held on Tuesday the 26^th October 1897 @ 3 o'clock pm and the General Half-Yearly Meeting on the same day @ 3.30.
The Clerk was instructed to make the injured pillar of the Eastington Bridge temporarily secure, in view of the probable widening of the bridge by the County Council.
Me Margetson of Messrs Strachan & C^o Ltd attended and explained the views of his Firm as to the proposed 12" water supply from the Painswick Brook to their reservoir. It was arranged that the Chairman and Clerk should meet Mr Margetson on the spot at an early date, and report to the Committee, if necessary at a Special Meeting.
Mr Taylor, tenant of the house at Eastington, having applied for leave to erect a shed in the Garden to enable his daughters to carry on a Public Laundry, the Clerk was instructed to enquire into it and report to the Committee.
