Report on chain of crane from Messrs Connop Bros, Cradley Heath. Chain 70ft long, links 15/16 iron (worn) weighs 5cwt 3qrs, tested and found capable of sustaining degree of tension equal to 9 tons 2 cwt 2 qrs. Certificate of the Testing Works, Cradley Heath C10676. Signed by F J Coborne Suptd 25 November 1908 in compliance with Factory and Workshops Act 1901 Regulations for Docks. Particulars entered on Form 75, September 1907 and given in charge of wharfinger at Dudbridge. Form for filling up according to requirements of Census of Production Act considered. Clerk to fill up and return.
[1908 December] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 16^th day of December 1908 @ 3.15pm

[Minutes] The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and approved.
[Notices on Bridges] The question of Notices on Bridges, as to Motor Traffic was adjourned till next Meeting for further information.
[Tenancy of Dudbridge Mr Price] The Clerk reported that Mr Price was prepared to take the Stables, Office and rooms on Dudbridge Canal Wharf, at a rental of £7..16..- per annum on a monthly tenancy and it was resolved that the agreement for this tenancy be sealed in due course.
[Crane Chain at Dudbridge] It was stated that the chain of the Crane at Dudbridge had been sent for testing to Messrs Connop Bros Cradley Heath who had returned the same with the following report:
"The chain is 70ft long links 15/16 Iron (worn) weighs 5cwt 3qrs and tested and found capable of sustaining a degree of tension equal to 9 Tons 2cwt 2qrs - Certificate of the Testing Works Cradley Heath C10676 signed by H Cobourn Sup^td Nov 25 1908."
In compliance with the Factory and Workshops Act 1901 Regulations for Docks, etc, the particulars have been entered on Form 75 (Sept 1907) and given in charge of the Wharfinger at Dudbridge.
[Census of Production Act] The Form sent for filling up according to the requirements of the Census of Production Act was considered and the Clerk was instructed to fill up and return the same.
