Agreement with Stroud Urban Council sealed.
Lengthening of drain at the Mud Tip in Stonehouse. Usual yearly payment stipulated.
Further letter from Rev F B Teasdale. Satisfied that bank of canal belonged to Company. Request that shrubs might be left till Autumn when they could be transplanted.
Mr Whittingham had seen Mr Jack Margetson who would like to join Committee, probably acquire a share and so become qualified. Mr Stanley Marling had seen Mr Henry Robert Hooper of Eastington. Willing to join Committee.
Mr Snape to proceed against persons caught netting for fish in canal near Parklands Bridge. To thank Blick for vigilance.
Inspection of canal not made. Mr Davies and Mr Whittingham to inspect upper section ending at Wallbridge. Mr Marling and Mr F A Little to take lower part.
[1910 June] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 15^th day of June 1910 @ 3.30pm
Present: Philip Jas Evans, W H Marling, A J Morton Ball, F A Little, F S Whittingham, W^m Davies, Walter J Stanton, S S Marling.
[SUD Agreement pipe Downfield] The agreement with the Stroud Urban District Council was produced and read by Mr Whittingham and being approved the Seal of the Company was duly affixed and attested.
[Midland Railway re Mud Tip] A letter from the Estate Agent of the Midland Railway Company was read sanctioning the lengthening of the Drain at the Mud Tip at Stonehouse as proposed and stipulating for the usual yearly payment by way of acknowledgement.
[Rev F B Teesdale re Canal Bank] A further letter from Rev F B Teesdale was produced in which he stated that he was now satisfied that the bank of the Canal where he had planted gorse belonged to the Company but requesting that the shrubs might be left till the Autumn when they could be transplanted, to which the Committee assented.
[Mr J Margetson Member of Committee] Mr Whittingham reported that he had seen Mr Jack Margetson and ascertained that he would like to join the Committee and would in all probability acquire a share ere long & so become qualified.
[Mr R A Hooper Member of Committee] Mr Stanley Marling said he had seen Mr Henry Robert Hooper of Eastington who was willing to join the Committee and on the proposition of the Chairman seconded by Sir W H Marling it was resolved to write Mr Hooper so to do.
[Netting] Mr Snape was instructed to proceed against the persons who had been caught netting for fish in the Canal near Parklands Bridge and to thank the Police for the vigilance they had displayed in the matter.
[Inspection Canal] For various reasons the Inspection of Canal arranged at the last Committee had not been made and it was now decided to ask Mr Davis and Mr Whittingham to inspect the Upper Section ending at Wallbridge and Mr Marling and Mr F A Little to take the lower part at dates convenient to themselves.
[Bank Balance] The Balance at Bank was shown to be £335 to the Credit of the Company.
