Mr Wibby, owner of saw mills at Ryeford had renewed fence from swing bridge to end of supporting wall of the mill pond.
At Gas Works Bridge preparations in hand for necessary works.
Cheltenham Billposting Co paid rent due after threats of proceedings used. Payment in advance in future.
Best to await further development before filling up Land Values Form and to act with other canal authorities.
Nothing done in matter of two cottages at Downfield.
Death of Chairman of Gas Co.
[1910 October] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 19^th day of October 1910 @ 3.30pm
Present: Philip Jas Evans, F A Little, W H Marling, F S Whittingham, A J Morton Ball, Jack Margetson, W^m Davies, Walter J Stanton, Henry R Hooper, S S Marling, Edward P Little.
[Minutes confirmed] The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
[Books & Vouchers] The various Books and Vouchers signed by the Auditor and certified to be correct were produced and passed.
[Treasurer's Book] The Treasurers Book was examined and signed by the Chairman.
[Clerks report] The Clerk reported:-
1 That C H White had vacated the house he had been occupying at Framilode and paid all rent due and it was decided to place notice boards near stating it was to let.
2 That following the reports of the Annual Inspection () the 'Ocean Bridge' had been erected (b) that Mr Wibby the owner of the adjoining Saw Mills at Ryeford had renewed the fence from the Swing Bridge there to the end of the supporting Wall of the Mill Pond (c) at the Gas Works Bridge preparations are well in hand for doing the necessary works.
3 That the Chelenham Billposting Company had paid the Rent due but only after threats of proceedings had been used and it was agreed that the payment in advance must be insisted on strictly in future.
[Canal Association] Correspondence with the Canal Association was produced and it was decided that it would be best to await further development before filling up the Land Values Form and to act in conjunction with other Canal Authorities in the matter.
[Cottages at Downfield] The Chairman reported that nothing had been done in the matter of the two Cottages at Downfield owing to the lamented death of the Chairman of the Gas Company but something would be shortly arranged for both parties to meet on the spot.
[Half Year's A.c Dividend 22/6] The A/cs for the past Half Year were then gone into and compared with previous years and it was agreed to recommend a Dividend of 11^s/6^d per share payable November 1^st.
