County Council wished Stroudwater Navigation to make offer on lease or otherwise undertake working of T&S Canal from Chalford to Stroud by 29 September next.
[1912 April] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 24^th day of April 1912 @ 3.30 o'clock pm

The Clerk reported:-
[Canal Bank Ryeford] 1 That no reply had been received to the letter he had written to D^r Perkins respecting the damage to the Canal Banks at Ryeford and he was instructed to write again pressing for a reply.
[Stoppage of Towing Path] 2 That the Towing path had been closed according to Notice between March 25 and March 29 in sections & that the books containing the formal requests for permission to pass had been signed without demur by those wishing to pass during the closure.
[Angling (Messrs Davis of Gloucester Agents)] 3 That he had arranged with Messrs Davis of Gloucester to sell Angling Licenses for the Canal at a Commission of 3^d per ticket.
[Stone from Rowley Regis] 4 That the County Council had commenced having Rowley Regis Stone by Canal for use on the Roads.
[Dividend 20^s/- pre Share] The Revenue A/c and Balance Sheet was discussed and compared with previous years and it was resolved to recommend a Dividend of 20^s/ per share for the half year ended 31^s March.
[Canal Inspection] It was arranged that the Annual Inspection of the Canal should take place in May. The Upper part being undertaken by Mr Whittingham and Mr Hooper was to be asked to act with him. The lower part Mr F A Little and Mr Davies promised to inspect.
[T&S Canal (County Council)] The Chairman stated that the County Council were desirous that the Stroudwater Navigation be prepared to make an offer to lease or otherwise undertake the working of the Thames & Severn Canal Chalford to Stroud by 29^th September next.
