[G P O Telephone charges] The Clerk produced copy of letter to the Post Master General asking for a reply to the offer made by the Company respecting wayleaves and stated that no reply had been received so far.
[Finance Act 1912 re Ship Inn] A letter from Messrs Smith & Sons Ltd was read in which they claimed a further reduction in the Rent of the Ship Inn in respect of compensation under the Finance Act 1912. The matter was left in the hands of Mr Whittingham for dealing with.
[Letters from Canal Assoc: re proposed Legislation] Letters have been received from the Canal Association on the subject of proposed Legislation and the Committee agreed with the views therein expressed.
[Dudbridge Wharf House] An estimate was put in for proposed connection of house at Dudbridge Wharf with the Main Sewer and it was left to Mr Snape to see to the work being carried out.
[Traffic] The traffic return shewed a good increase over previous years being as follows:
Oct 1 to 17 Nov 1912 £175, 1911 135, 1920 138, 1909 122.
[Credit Balance] The credit Balance at Bank was £300 against £320 at same period last year.
