Letter from Secretary of Post Office. Terms agreed. 1s per annum paid by Post Office for each telephone pole, strut or stay on Company’s property. 1s for every wire crossing canal. Maximum of 5s for every crossing if four or more wires. Mr Snape to meet government official and settle number of poles etc. and wires to be charged.
Messrs Smith’s verbal withdrawal from suggested deduction from rent of Ship Inn.
Objection to Stroud Electric Co’s proposed Act. Dangerous to Gas Co’s main. Most undesirable to have cable laid under towing path.
Connection of cottages at Dudbridge to main drainage system being attended to. Mr Hopson would carry out work to satisfaction of Inspector.
Traffic Report 1 October - 16 December 1912 £266 again compared favourably with 1911 £246, 1910 £224.

[Telephone Way Leaves] A letter from the Secretary to the Post Office was read in which the Department agreed to the terms proposed by the Company for Telephone way leaves viz: one shilling per annum to be paid by the Post Office for each Telephone pole, strut, or stay on the Company's property and 1/- for every wire crossing the Canal with a maximum of 5/-for every such crossing if four or more wires. It was arranged that Mr Snape should accept the invitation to meet the Government Official and settle with him on the spot the number of poles, etc, and the wires to be charged.
[Ship Inn Wallbridge] Messrs Smith & Son had withdrawn verbally their suggestion that a deduction from the Rent of the Ship Inn on A/c of License Duty under the Finance Act of 1913 should be made in paying the Christmas Rent - the latter having been sent in error.
[Stroud Electric Lighting] The Clerk was instructed to lodge notice of objection to the Stroud Electric Company's proposed Act it being considered that it would be dangerous to the Gas Company's main and be most undesirable to have the cable laid under the Towing Path.
[Cottages at Dudbridge] The Clerk reported that the connection of the Cottages at Dudbridge to the main Drainage System was being attended to & Mr Hopson would carry out the work to the satisfaction of the Inspector.
The Traffic report again compared favourably with past years being:
£266 for period Oct 1^st to Dec 16 1912 as against 246 in 1911, 224 in,1910.
The 'Credit Balance' at Bank stood at £340.
