Telephone Co had placed struts, etc, on Company’s property without giving notice of a number being used beyond what were charged to them. Clerk to settle number to be charged.
Reply to Electric Lighting & Power Co and letter received. Objection maintained to cables being placed on towing path and to act in conjunction with Gas Co. Mr F A Little, Mr Margetson and Mr Whittingham on committee appointed to deal with subject.
Enquiry into proposed formation of new District of Sewers at Wheatenhurst.
Sharpness Docks Co. successfully resisted action against them by Corporation of Worcester, seeking to render Company liable to strengthen their bridges. Increased weights now used on public roads. Corporation intended to appeal.

[1913 January] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 15^th day of January 1913 @ 3.30 o'clock pm

[Telephone charges Wayleaves] The Clerk reported that he had ascertained that the Telephone Company had placed struts, etc, on the Company's property without giving notice that a number were being used beyond what were charged to them, and that he had arranged to meet the Officials on the morrow and go through the matter with them and settle the number to be charged.
[Stroud Electric Lighting] M^r Whittingham reported what reply had been made to the Electric Lighting & Power C^o and letter received from them in return and it was decided to maintain the objection to the Cables being placed in the Towing paths and to act in conjunction with the Gas C^o. The Chairman, M^r F A Little, M^r Margetson & Mr Whittingham were appointed a Committee to deal with this subject.
[Cottage at Dudbridge connected to Main Sewer] The Clerk reported the connection to the Main Sewer at Dudbridge had been completed to his satisfaction and that of the Inspector at a cost of about £9..15..0.
[District of Sewers at Wheatenhurst] A notice of an Enquiry into the proposed formation of a new District of Sewers at Wheatenhurst was read and Mr Snape was instructed to attend if it appeared to be necessary.
[Canal Bridges] It was stated that the Sharpness Docks C^o had been successful in resisting an action brought against them by the Corporation of Worcester in which it was sought to render the Company liable to strengthen their Bridges in view of the increased weights now used on public Roads but that the Corporation was intending to appeal against the Decision.
[T&S Canal] The Clerk produced Statement of A/cs and Balance Sheet of the Thames and Severn Canal for the year ended 30^th Sept 1912. The amount of Tolls received by this Company in respect of through traffic over the Stroudwater Canal to and from the Thames and Severn Canal for the year ended 30^th Sept 1912 will now be ascertained in compliance with Sec 43 of the Thames and Severn Canal Trust Act 1895.
[Traffic] The traffic return for the period since October 1^st shewed that £342 had been earned against 304 for the same period in 1912, 297 in 1911, 324 in 1910, 279 in 1909.
The Bank Credit balance was £448..12..8 as compared with £416..18..4 this time last year.
