Mr Milnes, Surveyor of Stroud Urban District Council, to place pipe under road and keep road under repair for three years. Fee 10s.
Litigation with Corporation of Worcester in maintenance of canal. Bridges at sufficient strength for motor traffic. Canal Association’s request to Company to contribute.
Certificate of Mr Snape’s share, no.199 deposited with Company’s Treasurer in 1878 as a security. He now wished to dispose of share if Company accepted other security. Accepted if Mr Snape guaranteed by an approved Guarantee Society, sum of £200.

[Stroud UD Council and Pipe under Canal Property at Dudbridge] Mr Milnes the Surveyor of the Stroud Urban District Council had called at the Office to object to the stipulation by the Canal Company that the Stroud Urban District Council should keep the road in repair in future if they were allowed to place their pipe under the Canal property at Dudbridge and Mr Snape was empowered to arrange the matter on condition that the fee be 10/- and the Stroud Urban District Council keep the road there in good repair for three years.
[Sharpness New Docks C^o re Ditch on the South side of Canal between the Culvert Heading and Shallow Lock Bridge] Correspondence with Mr Cullis was put in and the Committee decided that this Canal has no responsibility for the short length of Ditch referred to in his letters.
[Canal Association re Corporation of Worcester & Canal Bridges] A printed report from the Canal Association Meeting on October 10 had been received also a letter from the Secretary calling attention to the litigation with the Corporation of Worcester on the maintenance of Canal Bridges at sufficient strength for motor traffic and asking the Stroudwater Company to contribute to the costs. The Committee agreed to contribute but the amount was left to Mr E P Little & the Chairman to decide after ascertaining the attitude of the Thames and Severn Canal Committee on the question.
[Share N^o 199 Mr W J Snape] Mr Snape called the attention of the Committee to the fact of the Certificate of his share No 199 being deposited with the Company's Treasurer in 1878 as a security and stated that he now wished to dispose of the share if the Company would accept some other security.
The Committee agreed to surrender the share on Mr Snape being guaranteed by one approved Guarantee Society in the sum of £200.
[Balance Sheet ending Sep 1913] The balance Sheet for the Half Year was discussed and it was resolved to recommend Dividend of 20^s/- per share.
