It appears that the sum of £758..19..10 has been received from the 1^st day of October 1913 to the 31^st day of March 1914 and a balance brought forward of £310..17..3 from the last Half-years A/c (after payment of Dividend) making a total of £1069..17..1 of which sum £606..2..11 has been applied towards the payment of Wages, disbursements, etc, (including a sum of £150..- paid towards the deficit of Revenue of the Thames and Severn Canal, Act 1895) and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £463..14..2.
Ordered that a Dividend of £1..0..0 per share be declared payable on the 1^st day of May next free of Income Tax carrying forward a balance of £263..14..2 to the next Half years A/c.
The sum of £110..16..9 in the hands of the Chancery Lane Safe Deposit & Offices C^o Ltd and £500..- in the Cape of Good Hope 3½% Inscribed Stock costing £520..1..0 and £500..- North British Railway C^os 4½% Convertible Preference Stock 1875 costing £589..9..6 stands to the credit of the Reserve Fund making a total of £1220..7..3. It was resolved that the following Gentlemen form the Committee for the year next following or until another Committee be appointed viz:-
