It was stated that no further communication had been received from the Stroud Urban District Council relative tot he passing of wires over the Canal from the proposed Electric Power Station.
Mr Bush of The Leazes Eastington had been writtend to as to his trees near the Pike Bridge but no reply had been received and Mr Whittingham was requested to write to Mr Bush's solicitors on the necessity of dealing with the matter before mischief ensued.
Two new Balance poles being required for Bristol Road Lock and Pike Lock Eastington the Manager was authorised to procure same.
Circulars had been received from Smith & Son Ltd of Brimscombe Brewery who are in liquidation and who owe the Navigation £10..- for rent to Christmas, Mr Whittingham undertook to look into the Lease they hold of the Ship Inn to see what this Company's rights are in the respect to possible compensation in the event of the Lincense being refused renewal as the result of a threatened application by Supt Briggs.
The Statement of A/cs of the Thames and Severn Canal was put in and discussed in view of the usual application by the Clerk of that Canal for particulars required under Sec 43 of the Act of 1895.
It was proposed by the Chair and seconded by Mr E P Little that Mr G J W Homer be appointed Treasurer in place of Mr G F Abell.
The Traffic return showed 302..15..7 for period Oct 1^st to Jan 20^th 1915 as compared with 358..7..0 a year ago and 342..4..10 1912/13.
Credit Balance at Bank stood at 425..7..5 as compared with same date 1914 427..11..10 and 447..2..3 the year before.
