At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 21^st day of April 1915 at 4 o'clock pm
Chairman: Philip Jas Evans.
It appears that the sum of £649..1..7 has been received from the 1^st day of October 1914 to the 31^st day of March 1915 and a balance brought forward of £322..19..8 for the last half-years A/c (after payment of Dividend) making a total of £972..1..3 of which sum £563..16..1 has been applied toward payment of Wages Disbursements, etc, (including a sum of £150 paid towards the deficit of Revenue of the Thames & Severn Canal - Act 1895) and there remains in the hands of the Treasurer the sum of £408..5..2.
Ordered that a Dividend of £1..0..0 per share be declared payable on the 1^st day of May next free of Income Tax carrying forward a balance of £208..5..2 to the next Half Years A/c.
The sum of £135..16..5 in the hands of the Chancery Lane Safe Deposit and Offices C^o Ltd and £500 in Cape of Good Hope 3½% Inscribed Stock costing £510..1..0 and £500 North British Railway C^o 4½% Convertible Preference 1875 costing £589..9...6 stands to the credit of the Reserve Fund making a total of £1245..6..11.
It was proposed by Mr E P Little seconded by Mr S S Marling that the present Committee be re-elected which proposal was carried unanimously:-
