Present: Philip Jas Evans, W^m Davies, Edward P Little, F S Whittingham, F A Little, W H Marling, Jack Margetson.
M^r Whittingham reported that he had not yet been able to come to an agreement with Messrs Smith & Sons Limited as to the amount of compensation they should pay for damage by loss of the License of the Ship Inn. Also that he had arranged with M^r W Lee of Nailsworth to let to him the house (late The Ship Inn) on lease at £22 per annum for 21 years from 24^th June 1915 determinable more or less at the end of 10 or 14 years and he produced the engrossment of the Lease which was duly sealed and attested. Certain portions of the premises had been reserved for the Company's use.
Estimate by M^r Hopson for the necessary decoration,, etc, to the house (late The Ship Inn) was put in amounting to £21..13..0 and agreed to.
M^r Snape Jun^r reported that the repairs ordered for the Lodgemore Swing Bridge had been carried out bu that further timber would be required shortly to renew the Central beams and he was authorised to order the same.
George Tyler tenant of Dudbridge Wharf House had given notice to leave on the 24^th June next, he had not as yet paid the Ladyday rent, but had promised to pay it and that for the present quarter out of the proceeds of sale of his furniture.
