Messrs Smith & Sons to pay £250 compensation for loss of Ship Inn licence.
Mr Tyler, late tenant of Wharf House, Dudbridge paid rent due. Mr Perks of Nupend offered to take the house with office and stable at £12 per annum.
W Bullock to have wages raised to same as other men, with house found him as now.
Mr A S Winterbotham’s proposal as to exchange of land at Stonehouse. Agreed to convey all Company’s land between the Ocean and Stonehouse Court property in exchange for equal area of meadow land adjoining mud tip on west side of the Midland Railway embankment from main road to Stonehouse and Eastington to River Frome. About ¼ acre. Company to erect and maintain a suitable and substantial boundary fence.
Reports on canal inspection by Mr Jack Margetson and Mr Whittingham – lower section and Mr F A Little and Chairman – upper section.
Mr Whittingham to write to Mr de Lisle Bush as to trees at Eastington. Cutting required at once.
Cheques in future to be signed by Chairman and member of Committee.
Gloucester Harbour Board, usual subscription £3 paid.
Letter from Canal Association re decision on appeal to House of Lords on Attorney General v. Great Western Railway Co in favour of Railway Co, following judgement in case of Sharpness Docks Co. Canal Association stated proportion required of amounts in aid of costs in Worcester Corporation and Sharpness Docks Co case, 50% subject to possible reduction in case other companies subscribe.

M^r Whittingham reported that he had arranged with Messrs Smith & Sons that £250 should be reckoned as the Compensation for the loss of the Ship Inn license.
M"r Snape Jun^r reported that M^r Tyler the late tenant of the Wharf House, Dudbridge had paid the rent due from him & that M^r Perks of Hupend had offered to take the house with office & stable at £17 per annum. This the Committee considered was rather too little but it was left with M^r Whittingham to deal with.
An application from W Bullock had been received asking that his wages might be raise to the same as the other men, his house being found him as now, which was agreed.
A proposal by M^r A S Winterbotham as to exchange of land at Stonehouse was fully considered and it was agreed to convey all the Company's land between the Ocean & Stonehouse Court property in exchange for an equal area of meadow land adjoining the Mud Tip on the west side of the M R embankment extending from the main road from Stonehouse & Eastington to the River Frome & estimated to be about ¼ of an acre. The Company to erect & maintain a suitable & substantial boundary fence.
The Annual Inspection of the Canal had been made by M^r Jack Margetson & M^r Whittingham as to the lower section viz: Framilode to Eastington & by M^r F A Little & the Chairman of the upper section - Eastington to Stroud & both reports were read & considered. M^r Whittingham was asked to write to M^r de Lisle Bush as to the trees at Eastington which required cutting at once.
It was resolved that the Treasurer be informed that cheques will in future be signed by the Chairman & countersigned by a member of the Committee & that the Bank be requested to honour such cheques.
The Glo'ster Harbour Board had applied for the usual subscription of £3 & it was ordered to be paid.
Letters had been received from the Canal Association calling attention to the decision on the appeal to the Hse of Lords in the case of Attorney Gen^l v G W R^y which was in favour of the R^y Co following the judgement in the case of the Sharpness Docks C^o.
The Canal Association also stated that the proportion required of the amounts promised by the subscribing Companies in the aid of the costs in the Worcester Corporation v Sharpness Docks Co case would be 50% subject to a possible reduction in the case other Companies may yet subscribe.
The Traffic was shown to be 282..1..8 Apl 1 to July 21^st 1915 against 300.10..0 for 1914 & 327..1..5 for 1913.
The Balance to C^r at the Bank was £332..12..7 as compared with £361..9..2 last year £341..16..3 in 1913.
