Re request for advance in wages, recommendation of Committee agreed to by Chairman and acted upon.
Mr Snape reported need to replace bottom gates at Blunder Lock shortly. Estimate from Mr Shipway for timber. Gates made if possible this season.

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
With reference to the request for advance in wages brought up at the last Meeting the recommendations of the Committee had been agreed to by the Chairman and acted upon.
Mr Snape reported that the Bottom Gates at Blunder Locks would shortly need replacing and it was decided to obtain an Estimate from Mr J Shipway for the timber before the next Meeting with a view to getting the Gates made if possible this season.
It was resolved that application should be made for a further £44..14..9 of 5% War Stock 1929-1947 to make up £150..- in all. This would cost £42..10..1 and the forms were filled up and Cheque signed accordingly. The Clerk was instructed to write withdrawing this amount from the balance of $19..15..7 now in the hands of the Chancery Lane Safe Deposit & Offices Co Ltd.
