[1918 Oct] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 23^rd day of October 1918 @ 3.20 o'clock pm
Present: Edward P Little, S S Marling, F A Little, W^m Davies, Philip Jas Evans, W R Bloxam.
[Tolls] The Chairman reported that he had been in correspondence with Sir Aston Lister the Acting County Surveyor and it had been arranged that the through rate of stone over the Stroudwater Canal to the Thames & Severn Canal should be raised from 3^d per ton to 4½^d per ton and from the Junction to Ryeford, Dudbridge and Wallbridge 7½^d per ton instead of 6^d hitherto charged.
Notices had been sent out as to the revised tolls for Coal, etc.
[Scottish Railway Stock Holder Assoc] The question of whether the Company should subscribe to the Scottish Railway Stockholders Association was discussed and it was decided to no nothing in the matter.
[Piling at Reyeford (Brook side)] The Manager reported that the piling of the Towpath bank at Ryeford where it is seriously undermined was being carried out - withey stakes being used and bundles of withey hard in.
[Dock wall Ryeford Saw Mills] The Correspondence with the Ryeford Saw Mills C^o was read and discussed. It was decided that the Company should be written to and informed that it was their responsibility if on investigation by the Solicitor to the Company it appeared to be so ---not that of the Company and that _they_ must carry out the necessary reparation to prevent leakage from the---
