Recent business has prevented my getting to Saul; also waiting for result of barge owner's meeting. They do not consider that a tip at Sharpness at the rates given by you in February would be an advantage. Coal for this canal and Stroud district if not passing over the Bridge and entering your canal must enter at Framilode and nothing would be gained by lowering the present charge of 6d per ton. As soon as weather permits the barge owners will work up the river to Framilode lock. The matter should stand over for future consideration.
