Mon 8 Mar 1880
To Henry Fallows, foreman
Eastington Yard

Summary

A woman drowned near the double locks last Saturday and I have never heard a word. Peter Daniels is aware. He must report whatever occurs in his length or what comes to his notice, especially in a case of drowning. The jury complained about the heavy rake kept at the lock. Get a light one made, and also for Wallbridge & Dudbridge and anywhere else you may require one. I have not heard from Burford. Trinder? Hanber of Bisley to send his price tomorrow and you can then make arrangements with J. Webb or Henry Lewis.
