Recounts difficulties in proceeding against Messrs. Ford Bros. for overloading their barge. Also, in case of obstruction, would have to prove the stoppage of trade. Ford Bros need to address the 'manner in which their captains navigate the Canal'. Have instructed Lewis to raise his two sunken boats within 7 days.
