Committee of Gloucester & Berkeley Canal Company submitted a plan for taking water from the brook through our canal to feed G&B Canal. To be put to General Meeting.
Mr James Walker or some other competent engineer to consider plan.
Letter from solicitor of bankrupt Harper claiming all debts and stock left on Dudbridge Wharf. Counsels opinion to be taken.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room Walbridge on Saturday the 3^rd day of December 1831
Present: M^R Cosham, M^r P H Fisher, D^r Darke, M^r Jos Fisher, M^r Grazebrook, M^r Wyatt, M^r S Fisher, M^r Croome, M^r Holbrow.
A Committee of the Gloucester & Berkeley Canal Company attended & produced a plan of the Works for taking Water from the Brook through our Canal for the feeding of the Gloucester and Berkeley Canal - for power to do which they propose to go to Parliament.
Ordered that a Special General Meeting of the Proprietors be forthwith called for taking the same into Consideration.
Ordered that M^r James Walker or some other competent Engineer be forthwith employed to consider the plan, and to view the spot where the works are intended to be made & to meet the Engineer of the Glocuester & Berkeley Canal thereon and to advise on the course proper to be adopted.
A Letter from the Solicitor of the assignees of Harper a Bankrupt being read - claiming all the Debts & stock left on the Wharf at Dudbridge.
Ordered that Counsels opinion be taken on the Case.
