John George, tenant of Dudbridge Wharf permitted to remove weighing machine and mound round it on giving up tenancy.
William John Wood and Richard Martin claimed share no.187, will of Mary Ann Eycott.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 24^th day of July 1832
Present: M^r Grazebrook, M^r Jos Fisher, M^R Snowden, M^r Holbrow, M^r Stanton, M^r T C Croome, M^r Wathen,
Examined the Books and Accounts of the Company.
M^r John George the tenant of the Dudbridge Warf having put a weighing Machine on the Wharf and a Mound round it, appled to the Committee to take the Machine away and remove the mound in case the Company not choose to take the same at a valuation when he leaves the Warf and for a Stipulation to that Effect to be inserted in the Agreement for his taking the Warf of the Company - which was agreed to.
Ordered that the sseveral Bills of Mess^rs Fisher amounting to fifty four pounds seventeen shillings and eight pence, M^r R S Marbury forty two pounds twelve shillings, M^r John Dimock fourteen pounds three shillings and one penny, Richard Chew nine pounds four shillings and one penny and Jeremiah Restall sixteen pounds five shillings and six pence be paid.
William John Wood of Bonds Mill in the Parish of Stonehouse in the County of Gloucester Esquire attended on Behalf of himself and Richard Martin of Downfield in the Parish of Stroud in the said County of Gloucester and made out their Claim to one Share numbered 187 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of Mary Ann Eyott of Stonehouse aforesaid Spinster deceased by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Mary Ann Eycott date the Twenty Seventh Day of April 1827 and proved by the said Richard Martin and William John Wood two of the Executors named in the said Will in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury on the Twenty Seventh day of June 1832 by which Will it appears that the said Richard Martin and WIlliam John Wood are two of the Executors therein named and that Probate of the said Will has been granted to them Power being reserved by the said Court of making a like Grant to John Stanton Esquire the other Executor when he should apply for the same. And the Claim of the said Richard Martin and WIlliam John Wood is hereby admitted accordingly.
