[1942 Jany] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 27^th day of January 1943 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, R J C Little, G A Evans.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Property at Framilode, Water Supply
Reported that in accordance with Minute of last Meeting Messrs Bradley and Son had been informed that their estimate amounting to £16..16..0 had been accepted. They had written that the Water Authority would not allow one connection only for the three houses, but insisted on two connections, their extra cost would be £3..0..0. M^r Hooper having authorized the acceptance of the further estimate it was Resolved that his action be confirmed.
Lockhouse at Dudbridge, Inside Repair
Lockkeeper Wiggall had accepted the Committees offer of £20 and a Cheque was signed in his favour for that amount.
Gashouse Bridge & Canal Bank - Repairs, Messrs Mowlem & Coy, Damage
The Clerk reported that Messrs Mowlem had paid the Company's claim amounting to £15..6..5.
The Committee proceeded to the business of the General Half Yearly Meeting @ 3.30 o'clock pm.
