The waterway from the intake at Lodgemore to the Gashouse Bridge is very badly silted and overgrown and obstructing the supply of water to the lower reaches of the canal. The Company’s man, with assistance from a man from the Gas Co, had cut a channel through the weeds 5-6 feet wide.
Clerk authorized to order planking for Lodgemore and Walk Bridges.

Meeting a letter had been written to the Board. There had been no reply.
Canal at Dudbridge, Lockkeeper Wiggall
The Clerk reported that Lockkeeper Wiggall had erected a notice in accordance with Minute of last Meeting.
Canal, Lodgemore Pound
The Clerk reported that the waterway from the intake at Lodgemore to the Gashouse Bridge is very badly silted and overgrown and was obstructing the supply of water to the lower reaches of the Canal. The Company's man, with assistance of one man from the Gas Company, had cut a channel through the weeds about 5' to 6' in width.
Lockhouses at Dudbridge
The Clerk was directed to carry out certain repairs to the roof and wall next the main road.
Lock Gates and Swing Bridges, Lodgemore & Walk Bridges
The Clerk reported that some of the plank decking on Lodgemore & Walk Bridges required replacing, & that planking was required for the repair of lock gates. The Clerk was authorized to order what was necessary.
Next Meeting The next Meeting of the Committee was fixed for Wednesday the 18^th August 1943.
