Summary

Sudden death of Mr H R Hooper, member of the Committee since June 1910. Members stood in silent tribute. Mrs Hooper to be sent condolences.
Water service pipe for Ebley Mills put across canal 18 March.
Following drawing of Lodgemore Mill sluices on the Painswick Stream, leakage has occurred from the canal culvert. Mill sluices have been put down to maintain level to Lodgemore Pound, which supplies water to Gas Co and Messrs Redler. Mr Ball to inspect and report how Company could repair culvert.

[1945 March] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 21^st day of March 1945 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, R J C LIttle, G A Evans, G W Morton Ball, Marcus Stewart.
The Memoranda of the proceedings held on the 26^th July, 16^th August, 20^th September, 18^th October, 15^th November, 20^th December 1944, 24^th January, 21^st February 1945 were confirmed.
The late M^r H R Hooper
The Chairman referred to the great loss the Committee has sustained by the sudden death of M^r H R Hoper, who had been a Member of the Committee since June 1910 and he was authorised to writhe to Mrs Hooper conveying the sympathy of the Members who then stood in silence as a tribute to his memory.
Canal, M^r Horsfalls letter was discussed.
Agreement with Messrs Leicester Lovell & Coy Ltd, re water from the Canal next Ebley Mills
The Agreement with Messrs Leicester Lovell was produced. It was noted that the term was left open pending the laying of the pipe to the Mills from the Canal.

It was reported that the pipe had been put across the Canal on Sunday the 18^th inst.
Lodgemore Culvert, Painswick Stream
It was reported that owing to the drawing of Lodgemore Mills Sluices in the Painswick Stream (in Sunday last) leakage had been caused to the Stream from the Canal culvert. The Mill Sluices had been put down and the Canal was maintaining a level viz the Lodgemore Pound from which the Stroud Gas Coy, and Messrs Redler take a supply, this rested on the Mill Sluices being kept down. The Millwright when seen on Monday last undertook to make arrangements to this effect, and to continue it until the Canal Company could see what could be done about the repair of the Culvert under the Canal. M^r Ball undertook to visit the place & to report.
