To George Ford, miller
Eastington

Summary

You will only be charged half rates by the Sharpness Dock Co on all goods entering our Framilode Lock and passing on the G&B Canal to Gloucester. The Committee cannot reduce the current 6d per ton on grain to and from Eastington. We were not aware that you paid any more than the half rate on goods entering at Sharpness and going up the Stroudwater Canal; if you do then let me know. PS There will be a 2s 6d per week wharfage charge for the gates, etc on the wharf at Eastington.
