Mr R Parker applied for allowance of a drawback on tonnage of salt carried upward. Allowed if and when Thames & Severn Canal Co agree to make drawback on the line of their canal, on similar application to them.

Application by Mr William Playne for reduction on tonnage in Bristol stone going up for repair of Nailsworth Road from Dudbridge Wharf. Reduced by 2d per ton.

At a General Half Yearly Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn Stroud on Thursday the 23^rd Day of April 1835
John Holbrow Esq^r in the Chair.
The minutes of the last General Meeting were read and confirmed.
The several Books and Accounts were produced respecting the affairs of the Company (as directed by Act of Parliament) and were examined and confirmed.
It appears by the Accounts that the Sum of £3144..13..6 has been received for Tonnage, etc, from the 11^th day of October last to the 11^th day of April Instant; a art of which had been applied towards the payment of Wages, disbursments, etc, and that there remains in the Treasurers Hands (after paying the last Dividend) the sum of £2530..0..6.
Ordered that a Dividend of Twelve Pounds & ten Shillings be paid on each Share by the Treasurers on the first day of May next; and that our Clerk do transmit circular Letters to all the Proprietors to inform them that they may draw upon the Treasurers or apply to them for payment of the same.
The following Gentlemen are appointed a Committee for the ensuing Year.

Application having been made by M^r R^d Parker to this Company for the allowance of a Drawback on the Tonnage of Salt carried upwards,
Ordered that the Committee do allow a Drawback on Salt so carried, if and when the Thames & Severn Canal C^o shall agree to make a Drawback on the line of their Canal, on a similar application made to them.
Application having been made by M^r William Playne for a reduction in Tonnage on Bristol Stone going up for the repair of the Nailsworth Road from Dudbridge Wharf, Ordered that the same be reduced two pence per Ton.
