Summary

Request from Mr Richard Parker to be allowed credit on his account refused.
John George in arrears. Must pay on each vessel comes up.
Mr Ayres, late lock keeper, has not quitted house at Double Locks. Immediate ejection.
Messrs Fisher to apply to John King of Ryeford Mill to pay for use of enlarged road to his mill. In default Company to dispossess him of road and restore wall.
Boundaries of wharf at Ryeford to be marked with meer stones to separate it from land of Mr Critchley.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Thursday the 16^th day of February 1837
Present; M^r Cosham, M^r Wood, M^r Jos Fisher, M^r P H Fisher, M^r Sam^l Fisher, M^r Geo Wathen, D^r Darke, M^r Holbrow, M^r Tho Croome.
Examined the Books & accounts of the Company.
A letter from M^r Ric^d Parker was read requesting that in future he should be allowed credit on his account instead of paying in the usual manner.
Ordered that the Clerk do write to M^r Parker stating the Committee cannot accede to his request.
The Committee having observed that John George's account is in arrear instead of being in advance agreeable to his own suggestion,
Resolved that the Clerk do write to M^r George reminding him of the circumstance & that he must comply with the original agreement of pay as each Vessel comes up.
It being reported the M^r Ayers late lockkeeper has not quitted the house in his occupation at the double Locks,
Resolved That the Clerk do consult with Mess^rs Fishers and request them to take immediate steps for his ejectment.
Burbidge's report from Dec. 14^th 1836 to the present day was read.
Ordered that Mess^rs Fisher do make application to M^r John King of Ryeford Mill to pay the required acknowledgement for the use of the enlarged Road to his Mills; or in default thereof, the Company will proceed to disposses him of the Road, and restore the Wall where it originally stood.
Ordered that the boundaries of the Wharf at Ryeford be marked with meer Stones, to separate it from the Land of __ Critchley.
