I have no record of the trade passing up the Severn to Framilode Lock before the erection of the Bridge. No traffic passes up under the Bridge now to Framilode Lock but enters Sharpness. The 'Excelsior' is a regular trade to and from Bullo. Bargeman say the tide runs from seven to eight miles an hour.
