The Committee cannot ignore the laying of large pipes near Ebley Saw Mills to take water and drainage from Ebley properties into the Canal. For a long time there has been a growing nuisance and injury and substituting the open ditch for pipes will increase this by more sewage being discharged into the Canal. This is detrimental to the public health and is illegal. The Committee hope that you will bring the matter before the Sanitary Committee so that the sewage can be dealt with.
