[Committee Meeting to be in future on third Friday in each month. 7 days notice.]
Resolved that in Reference to the Resolutions of the last meeting the ordinary Meetings of the Commttee be in future held on the 3^rd Friday of each Month (commencing on the third Frieda of December next) but that if that day should happen to be on Good Friday then the Meeting shall be held the previous Day and that the Clerk shall sent Notices to each member of the Committee Seven days previously to each ordinary Meeting when practicable.
Resolved, That the Money to be charged for the Expences of the Meeting of the Committee shall be divided equally amongst such members of the Committee as shall attend at the Hour appointed and shall be divided immediately after the Meeting shall be closed provided a Committee shall ultimately be formed but not otherwise.
M^r Wathen read a Letter from the Solicitors of the Bristol & Gloucester Railway Company in reply to the notice given to them in conformity with the resolutions of the last meeting which was considered unsatisfactory.
It was thereupon Resolved that M^r Wathen do act upon the opinion which he may receive in answer to the case stated by him and submitted to Counsel pursuant to the resolution of the last meeting and that M^r Wathen be at liberty to communicated with M^R Croome for his assistance thereon.
John Stanton of Stonehouse in the County of Gloucester Esq^re attended on behalf of himself and William Henry Stanton of Stratford Cottage in the parish of Stroud in the County of Gloucester Esq^re and Charles Stanton of Upfield Lodge in the same parish of Stroud Esq^re and made out the claims of the said William Henry Stanton, John Stanton and Charles Stanton as Executors of William Stanton late of Thrupp in the said parish of Stroud Esq^re deceased to Sux shares No^s 69, 114, 115, 142, 143 & 192 in this Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said William Stanton deceased which Will bears date the eleventh day of February One Thousand Eight hundred & thirty Seven and was proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury by the said William Henry Stanton, John Stanton & Charles Stanton on the first day of February 1842 and the Claim of the said William Henry Stanton, John Stanton & Charles Stanton is allow^d accordingly.

Resolved that a Special Committee meeting be called for Friday the 16^th day of December instant for the purpose of taking into consideration the order of the last General half Yearly Meeting of Proprietors in Reference to the securing an independent mode of Feeding the Navigtion with Water at or near Ebley -- by the description of "upon special matters".
Resolved that in future (except in the above instance) all Notices of Special Meeting shall contaon an Intimation of the Subject Matters intended to be discussed at the Meeting to be always followed by the words "together with others".
