Verbatim text

At a Meeting of the Sub Committee held at Wallbridge on Thursday the 27th day of March 1845
M^r Wood and M^r Gurney were the only two Members of the Sub Committee who attended consequently no business was transacted except drawing a rough sketch of a Petition to Parliament in case it should be considered necessary to contest the Bill. But it was considered necessary that our Solicitro should go to London as the Bill was ordered to be read a second time on Monday next in order that he might draw certain Clauses for the protection of this Company and prepare a Draft of a Petition to Parliament.
