[1930 June] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 19=8^th day of June 1930 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam. Jack Margetson, Henry R Hooper, R J C Little, J R Morton Ball.
The Memoranda of the proceedings at the Meetings held on the 16^th April 1930 and on the 28^th May 1930 were confirmed.
Cottage at Bristol Road
It was reported that Mr Bailey had agreed to the Companys terms and conditions with regard to the tenancy of the Cottage & would sign the normal agreement.
A letter was read from Lady Makins asking for the Company's permission to take water from the Canal at Newtown. The Clerk was instructed to see her representative.
A letter was read from Mr Sibly enquiring if it were possible to dredge that portion of the Canal opposite the School bathing house. The Clerk was instructed to write M^r Sibly that the weeds on the Canal were being cut in the ordinary course and the part opposite the bathing place would be done shortly.
A letter was read from Mr D Smith of Ebley stating that he wished to move one of the Wycliffe College boats to the Ebley pound. The Clerk was instructed to inform him that the Company would allow him use of the Ebley pound only on payment of a fee of 10/- to include the passing of the boat from the Stonehouse Pound to the Ebley Pound and its return, providing due notice be given so that the Companys Lock-keeper may be in attendance to pass the boat through the Locks.
The payment of this fee not to allow for any other locks being used and in the event of his intending to make an excursion up or down the Canal the Company's usual tolls and lock-keepers charges would be payable and a special permit issued from the Wallbridge Office.
It was Ordered that the next Meeting be held on the 23^rd July 1930 @ 4 o'clock pm and the General Half Yearly Meeting @ 4.30 o'clock pm on same day.
