The search box will find articles and documents that match all the words you enter, so use fewer terms to get more hits, or more terms to refine your search.
Use double quotes to group words together: "saul junction"
Put a minus sign just before words that you don't want: bristol -"bristol road"
A year will restrict results to that year: flood gate 1796
Put two full stops between years to set a range: whitminster 1800..1820
Or set an end year adding two full stops before the year: timber ..1760
Or set a start year by adding two full stops after the year: timber 1940..
Searches are case insensitive, and include word parts, so a search for Bridge will also match Wallbridge and Dudbridge.
