I am not aware of our men having stopped up a drain at Whitminster nor of any drain carrying water off the road and under the Canal. If any water is damaging Mr Vick's grass it is up to him to complain and I would meet him on site. I call your attention again to the long-promised Catch Pits.
From 1st January 1892 you will be charged 1s per square yard for stacking coal on the Lower Wallbridge Wharf.
The drain under Bristol Road lock was to take water off the land and not the road. Ask Mr Vick to write to me and I shall meet him. If the water damages your road I will attend to it.
