Our small railings on that part of canal necessary for protection. Another section does not belong to us. I would like to meet official on spot to prevent mistake being made.

Average cost of maintenance of canal £600 a year. No traffic so no weeding or dredging. Absence of income. No use of waterway owing to condition.
Re Dudbridge Wharf premises. Council have not requisitioned whole of premises included in your lease. For you to put in claim against Council.
Consent granted. Nominal wayleave rent 2s 6d per annum. Application for further small pipe to canal next Lodgemore Mills granted. Rent of 2s 6d per annum.

You are permitted to use basin at Wallbridge and take boat to Saul Junction. No locks or bridges to be worked.
You should employ Mr Hopson as carpenter. Trespass and pilfering getting worse.

Western part of Stonehouse Wharf let to Ministry of Mines. Essential that essential width of roadway should be left open. I shall be glad to hear that you will allow a wider approach to land let to Ministry of Mines.
Re Canal Bank next Gashouse at Downfield Stroud. Damage to roadway and bank more serious. Lorries off road on to towing path. Re-piling and sheeting needed for 32 feet
Condition of wall between house and garden adjoining Anchor Inn
Ventilating opening in wall of your premises overlooking the canal granted. 1s a year.
I would like to transfer my personal supply of coal from Stroud Co-operative to Messrs Wood & Rowe.
