Mr Hepworth: interviews with Docks and Inland Waterways Executive, representing Gloucester & Berkeley Canal, and Severn River Board. Canal from aqueduct at Whitminster
to first lock below junction should be conveyed, free, to Docks & Inland Waterways Executive who would become responsible for maintenance of banks, construct a dam to west of siphon and pay half cost of removing siphon to restore Frome to normal course. Severn River Board to pay other half of cost.
Disrepair of Lock house at Dudbridge. Roof in very bad state, leaking. Mr Wiggall’s children having fits. Mr Hopson to undertake immediate repairs.
